Designed in 1928 by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, the PH 3½–2½ is part of the development of the three-shade system launched two years earlier. Developed using a logarithmic spiral, this geometric principle allows for precise light distribution and optimal glare control. Henningsen thus pursued his goal of adapting electric lighting to domestic visual needs, combining photometric efficiency with user comfort.

The shades are made of three-layer mouth-blown opal glass, polished on the outside and sandblasted on the inside to diffuse a soft, uniform light. The whole rests on a balanced metal structure, true to the original design. Through its formal rigor and optical mastery, the PH 3½–2½ embodies the rational research conducted by Henningsen on the quality and direction of light.

Each piece is shipped via Geodis tracked courier service. Shipping costs are calculated based on the shipping weight, including packaging, and are displayed in the cart before any payment.
