Designed in 1965 by Vico Magistrettiand awarded the Compasso d’Oroin 1967, Eclisseis a bedside lampbased on a simple mechanical principle: a rotating inner shell "eclipses" the light source within a fixed outer shell, shifting from a direct beam to a softer diffusion. This concentric shell architecture makes Eclisse a piece where light control is entirely managed by the geometry of the diffuser.

LED bulbs consume about 80% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs, while offering a lifespan up to 25 times longer. Furthermore, they generate much less heat, thus contributing to a safer and more energy-efficient environment. To optimize energy efficiency and minimize environmental impact, we recommend the use of LED bulbs for all our lamps.
