The VL Studio family is derived from a lamp model designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for Radiohuset, the former Radio House in Copenhagen, in the 1940s. The name "Studio" was chosen because some of these lamps served as indicators for recording sessions, with a red and a green lamp mounted outside the studio.

It is made of lightly brushed polished brass and three-layer mouth-blown opal glass. The VL Studio Wall lamp is also available in a new matte black finish for a more graphic and streamlined look than the polished brass version, which has a softer and warmer appearance. The VL Studio Wall lamp adds a touch of modernity and warmth to all types of interiors thanks to its simple aesthetic and high-quality materials.
