Details

Introduced in 1975, Sintesi was the first lamp designed by Ernesto Gismondi for Artemide. Stemming from a reflection on modularity and construction efficiency, it is composed of folded metal elements forming a structure that is adjustable in height and inclination. The structure rests on two C-shaped folded sheet metal elements, connected by a central axis. This articulated mechanism allows the lamp to be extended or folded, and enables precise adjustment of the diffuser's orientation.

The frame supports a standard E27 socket, compatible with various light sources, as well as a reflector and a protective grid that ensure effective light control. Foldable for optimized transport and packaging, Sintesi illustrates Ernesto Gismondi's rational and technical approach: a design based on functional clarity, simplicity of components, and the durability of a system built to last.
