The Coupé was born in 1967 from the creative intuition of Joe Colombo, who initially conceived it as a variation of a lamp already in the Oluce collection, the Spider. From these simple elements — a base, a stem, and an adjustable diffuser — Colombo gave birth to one of the brand's most iconic series.

Standing 34 cm tall, the Mini Coupé retains the energy characteristic of Joe Colombo’s 1960s creations, a time when design combined functionality, aesthetic innovation, and experimentation with materials and colors.

As proof of its international success, the Coupé won the "International Design Award" from the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago in 1968 and is now part of the permanent collections of the MoMA in New York and the Neue Sammlung museum in Munich.
