Details

Designed by Michele De Lucchi and made in Italy, Metafisica Tavolois a designer bedside lampthat combines an inner cylinder of frosted borosilicate glass, set on a dark grey metal disc, with a transparent blown-glass bell that evokes an oversized light bulb.

The layering of these two volumes—an opaline column housing an E14 socket and a crystalline bulb—softens the intensity of the source while broadening its reach: the light permeates the frosted glass, diffuses at 360°, and then reflects within the clear casing to produce a warm, dense, and glare-free halo, ideal for reading or accent lighting.
